What this site is

Giant Panda Cam is an independent, informational reference about official giant panda cams and panda zoo status in the United States. It is provided free of charge, as is, for general information and trip-planning purposes.

No affiliation

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, Zoo Atlanta, the Memphis Zoo, or any government, conservation, or tourism body. All panda names and zoo names are the property of their respective owners, and each zoo's official website — not this site — is the final authority on its animals, hours, tickets, and policies.

Informational content, no warranty

We work hard to be accurate: every status item carries a "last checked" date, and facts are sourced from official zoo publications. But zoo schedules, prices, pass rules, and panda statuses change without notice, and we make no warranty that any information on this site is current, complete, or error-free. Always confirm details — hours, ticket prices, entry passes, tour availability, and especially exhibit openings — on the official zoo pages linked throughout this site before making travel or purchase decisions. Your use of the information is at your own risk.

What we will not do — and what you should not expect

• This site does not sell tickets, memberships, reservations, or tours, and it is not a travel agency.
• This site does not guarantee that any panda cam is streaming at any given moment; cameras follow the animals and are operated by the zoos.
• This site does not invent dates. Where a zoo has not announced something, we say so — and you should treat any specific date found elsewhere as unofficial until the zoo publishes it.

The site links to third-party websites operated by zoos and other organizations. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. A link from this site is a pointer to the official source, not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.

Intellectual property

The site's original text and its simple SVG artwork are its own content. Panda names, zoo names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. This site publishes no panda photographs and no re-streamed or embedded camera footage; cam links take you to the zoos' own players, which are operated entirely by the zoos under their own terms.

Acceptable use

You may read, link to, and share this site's pages freely. You may not scrape the site at a volume that degrades it, misrepresent its content as official zoo communication, or present its status information as a substitute for the zoos' own announcements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giant Panda Cam and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including missed visits, unused tickets, travel costs, or booking decisions — arising from use of, or reliance on, this site.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the site evolves; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
